PowerOn Protector System
Manages (and scales) security on devices for your network.
It secures the BIOS of systems vulnerable to PXE attacks via USB or Network, protecting the system of turn-on and unauthorized reboots, making use of HW/SW components. Ideal for ATMs
Provides remote control of the BIOS password via network, to allow the turn on, power off or restart the secured equipment.
Using Access List, it provides control according to assigned privileges to control and take statistics of reboots and starts in the ATMs , or unauthorized system startups.
It monitors the operating system to be protected through an agent, to detect if the shutdown was done correctly or not and in this way decides if the BIOS password is put it and as consequence the start is allowed or denied.
What is PowerOn Protector?
PowerOn Protector is a solution, unique in its type, which is made up of software-hardware which secures the BIOS of any electronic device that has it. This objective is achieved by avoiding any unauthorized startup or restart of a system (based on a microcomputer architecture), taking control of the BIOS password, which is part of the system to be protected. With PowerOn provides physical and logical security of attacks that require restarting a computer or server, ensuring the environment of unauthorized starts with malicious ISOs using third-party software, thus protecting the BIOS and control of the machine itself same.

PowerOn Protector It is a system composed of two elements: one software, which is a software development to the measure and another one of hardware, represented by a microcomputer and a microcontroller that as a whole owns an embedded algorithm of control. When it works in harmony, it is able to secure any BIOS of any electronic device, this making use and intelligently and automatically managing the password of control and security that gives access to the secured equipment.
PowerOn Protector will manage the BIOS password providing smart decision about when to write the password into the BIOS text box and when to block this field and send an alarm to the system administrator.
PowerOn Protector is able to be detected as regular keyboard into the BIOS. But with the difference that will be the responsible for to write (literally) the password or not. This decision will be taken according to the agent installed into the operative system of the ATM.
